Owner
BSc, DDS, MDent (Perio), FRCD(C)Erin was born and raised in Oakfield, Nova Scotia. She is the proud owner of Bedford Periodontics and is thrilled to serve patients from her home community and beyond.
Bedford Periodontics is a full-scope periodontal office including advanced laser therapies.
Erin received her Bachelor of Science in Biology-Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick before returning to Halifax to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Dalhousie University in 2016. Upon graduation she was honored as the Dr. D.S. Precious University Medal in Dentistry recipient.
Erin continued her studies and training at Dalhousie University, completing her Masters of Dentistry in Periodontics in 2019.
It was always Erin’s ambition to open her own practice, and after 3 years working in private practice, she is thrilled to be opening Bedford Periodontics. Working through the challenges of COVID-19, Bedford Periodontics was opened in 2022. In addition to her work, Erin also teaches part-time in the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University.
Never one to sit still for long, Erin is always on the go alongside her husband as they spend time with their children, family and friends.

Associate Periodontist
BHSc, DDS, MDent (Perio), FRCD(C)Dr. Drew is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. He takes pride in creating a comfortable experience for his patients and developing personalized treatment plans to meet their individual needs. Patients who meet Drew often appreciate his supportive and caring demeanour and frequently comment on his ability to make them feel at ease during their visits.
He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Alberta, followed by a one-year hospital residency with a focus on surgical procedures and the management of medically compromised patients. After working as a general dentist in Alberta, he then moved to Nova Scotia to complete his specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at Dalhousie University.
Drew enjoys all aspects of periodontal care and has a special interest in treating complex and aesthetic implant cases. In addition to his specialty training, he has completed many advanced courses in dental implants and oral reconstruction, in order to provide his patients with the most optimal treatment.
Beyond his clinical work, Drew is passionate about teaching and staying current with the latest advancements in implant and periodontal therapy. He currently serves as a part-time instructor in Dalhousie’s periodontics program. He has also been a part of several volunteer mission trips, helping people in Guatemala, Thailand and Ecuador. In his free time he enjoys hiking, travelling, reading and taking care of his house plants.

Administrative Manager
Teresa started her 25-year dental career graduating from the dental technology program at the NSCC-IT campus in 2000. Throughout her career, she has held many positions in the industry, from chairside assistant to office manager. With her vast experience, Teresa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our clinic.
Coming from Enfield, Teresa has deep roots in the East Hants community. Born in Truro and growing up in Lantz, she is now raising her small but mighty family close to home. In her free time, she enjoys playing hockey, softball, golf and pickleball with her husband and son.
Teresa is excited to be a part of Bedford Periodontic’s work family and will strive to make her clients’ periodontal experience the best it can be.

Registered Dental Assistant
With years of experience in Periodontal care, Kelli is a dedicated and compassionate dental assistant who takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and confident about their dental health.
Known for her friendly personality, gentle touch and great sense of humour she creates a welcoming atmosphere that puts even the most nervous patients at ease.
Passionate about both patient care and teamwork, Kelli brings extensive knowledge of dental procedures, chairside assisting and patient education to every appointment. She loves connecting with people and believes that a little laughter goes a long way in making dental experiences more enjoyable!
When she is not at the office you can find Kelli enjoying long walks with her husband and their dog Hazel, soaking up the outdoors and sharing smiles wherever she goes!

Registered Dental Assistant
Kayla is originally from Yarmouth, NS. She completed her medical office administration course in 2013 at NSCC-Bridgewater. She then made the move to Halifax to complete her dental assisting level ll program at NSCC in 2014. Kayla worked in a primary care dental office until she started working with Dr. Nowe in 2019 and found her passion for periodontics.
Kayla resides in Halifax with her husband and two daughters. She spends her free time running back and forth to extra curricular activities, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.

Registered Dental Assistant
Madison was born and raised in Halifax and graduated from the level II dental assisting program at NSCC in 2016.
Since then, she has spent time assisting in several different dental specialties and ultimately fell in love with periodontics.
Outside work, Madison spends time with friends and her family, most importantly, her niece and nephews. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, travelling and cooking.

Brittani grew up in East Hants, NS and graduated from the Level II Dental Assisting Program at the NSCC in 2014.
Following graduation Brittani worked in general dentistry for 3 years and found working with her patients rewarding. In 2017 Brittani was introduced to Periodontics and immediately fell in love. She loves working with patients and putting them at ease with her happy and outgoing personality.
When not at work Brittani enjoys reading, golfing, going for walks and spending time with her husband and sons.

Jennifer hails from beautiful British Columbia, moving to Nova Scotia in 2005. She brings to our office 25 years of experience in various areas of dentistry, finding her niche within the specialty of periodontics 14 years ago.
Jennifer keeps busy volunteering with various community programs.

Erica was born and raised in Halifax, attending Dalhousie University and graduating in 2015 with her Diploma in Dental Hygiene.
Since then, she has worked in general dentistry until making the switch to periodontics in 2023 where she feels as though she's found her niche.
Erica currently resides in Sackville with her partner and during her free time she enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with friends and family (especially her nieces and nephews.)

Jayden was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She graduated from Acadia University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology while playing on the varsity soccer team for five years. After her time at Acadia, Jayden pursued the Level II Dental Assisting program at NSCC, graduating in 2025. She is now proud to be part of the Bedford Periodontics team, where she feels she has found a career she truly loves.
Outside of work, Jayden enjoys spending time with her family and friends, staying active, and fulfilling her creative side through her photobooth business.

Receptionist
Alyssa Rogers was born and raised in Windsor, Nova Scotia. She attended the Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) and graduated in 2020. Following graduation, Alyssa began her career as a receptionist at an orthodontic clinic, where she developed her skills in patient care and office administration. In 2025, she joined Bedford Periodontics as a receptionist, continuing to bring warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail to her work.
Alyssa currently lives in Bedford, Nova Scotia with her partner and their two cats.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going for walks, reading, and thrifting, especially for new salt and pepper shakers to add to her evergoing collection.

Receptionist
Lindsay was born and raised in Burlington, Ontario and made her move to Nova Scotia in 2022.
She graduated from dental assisting school in 2018 then spent three years assisting chairside before making the switch to dental administration, where she now helps patients navigate appointments, treatment plans, and all things dental with a smile.
Lindsay joined Bedford Periodontics in 2024 and her background in both clinical and administrative roles gives her a unique perspective on supporting patients and the dental team alike.
When she’s not at the office, Lindsay can be found in Beaver Bank with her golden retriever Rupert and her four cats, because one simply isn’t enough.
